DC Electronics (UK) Ltd. started its services to the IT sector by repairing printers.

Dot matrix printers in the 80s and 90s were vastly used within the business community and the main problem with them was the dot matrix impact print head!
These were often very expensive (And still are in some cases) and hence costly to replace.

DC Electronics (UK) Ltd. was one of the first companies in the UK to replace the head needles and refurbish the faulty head instead of a complete replacement! This means cheaper repair cost and more effective use of the working parts.

Laser printers are repaired by applying the same logic!
Where possible, we repair the faulty module to component level. As an example, we repair the faulty fuser unit within the laser printer rather than replacing the complete unit. This means cheaper repair cost and a more environmentally friendly attitude.

Where economically viable, i.e. when the cost of repair does not exceed 75% of the cost of brand new replacement, any type of printer repair is taken up.

We are able to extend this service across a broad range of manufacturers such as Brother, Epson, HP, Kyocera, Lexmark and OKI.

All printer repairs are guaranteed for 3 months.
